iPad Air Camera shutter sound
Cannot get camera shutter sound on iPad Air with Live either on or off. Volume is at max. Also, no alert sound when text received. Was properly set up. Is there a relationship?

We understand you're looking for some help with the camera shutter sound on your iPad Air, and alert sounds for Messages. We'll be happy to help.
First, we want to mention that the camera shutter doesn't make a sound when Live Photos is turned on. This would be expected behavior. If you're not hearing the camera shutter sound when Live Photos is disabled, with the Camera app open, try adjusting the volume from Control Center. For alert sounds in Messages, tap Settings > Notifications > Messages, and ensure Sounds are enabled there. Next, make sure your iPad is not in silent mode, and adjust the volume for alerts using the steps found here: Adjust the volume on iPad
