Change passcode via computer?

I dropped my iPhone and one side of the screen doesn't work anymore, where one of the numbers for the passcode is. Is there a way to change it on a computer so I can get onto my phone again and backup the data, or will I need to replace the whole screen? I know the code but cannot enter it.
