Safari virus

Hi everyone.

If the websites i visit contain malware, can it infect my phone? I don’t come across any ads. I just go to the site and read what is written, ı don’t download anything. As ı am a bit paranoid, I factory reset my phone. Could a virus get into my phone like this? There is no Jailbreak on my phone. Sorry for my bad english.

iPhone Virus Detection While using safari on my IPhone there was a pop up that said there were viruses detected on my phone from visiting certain websites. Without thinking I clicked the link because it looked legit, I was redirected to the App Store but did not download the app. Is it possible I have a virus by clicking the link to the App Store? Also I have pop ups blocked so is there a reason why I still received a pop up? Thank you!!
