Apple Care

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro (M1 2020). At the time of purchase, I did not have extra money to purchase apple care and was told I could purchase it later of the apple website. When I come to the website to buy the protection plan, it says this device is not eligible for the plan, even though I just acquired this laptop not even a week ago. Do I have to wait for a period of time to become eligible for the program or is the program only available at the time of purchase? I did purchase the MacBook Pro at a local Best Buy if that helps any.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0

With AplleCare+ you have only 60-days after a new purchase to buy/activate. After 60 days you can not.

You can purchase/activate over the phone if you are still eligible.
