Loop playlists/songs with Alexa Devices

I had this problem as well, but I finally have the answer to fix this. It works when you say, “Turn loop mode on” (or off).

Whenever I use Spotify or Amazon Music, I always say, “Put this song on repeat”, but it never works with Apple Music so it’s pretty weird and confusing.

I have the same problem, I was looping a river sounds song for my baby daughter to sleep to each night and for her naps and now it doesn’t work. Nightmare! I have contacted Amazon who got me to do all sorts and nothing worked. They have passed me on to someone else now. Worth noting it also used to say “loop mode on.” And now says “loop turned on.” (On amazon stuff, not Apple!) Which suggests a change their end since the wording has also changed so makes me think there’s been an update. None of the Amazon people I spoke to know what has happened.

I had Alexa report two days ago that she couldn’t loop this stream (Apple Music playlist) but it’s working again for me now.

edit: just tried again and it didn’t work.

I have the same issue with Alexa saying “ I can not repeat this stream” ....with Apple Music....used to work just fine until a week or two ago.

Same for me, but just tried it this morning and it worked! Alexa replied with “Loop mode on.”

Played song and is repeating as expected.

This stopped working again, anyone else having this issue? Now I just get a error type beep.
