Why does Google Chrome show up as an ejectable disk in Finder, and why does the installation prompt come up every time I boot up my MacBook?

This just started happening about a month ago after almost two years of using Chrome on this computer. When I turn the computer one, the installation window for Chrome pops up "Drag the icon into the folder" and every time Chrome is running, its all of a sudden listed as an ejectable device in Finder. While nothing huge, it is extremely annoying. Any help would be great.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

We understand from your post that you would like to remove Google Chrome from showing up under Locations. We suggest using the eject button to remove it from the Finder sidebar.
