iPhone died after water damage alert

I got the water in lightning port alert at 1 percent, then my phone died and it wont even charge. Nothing is popping up, my phone wasn’t even near liquid

Hello,

Your phone will likely need to be replaced. However, in the meantime, you might be able to limp along for awhile by following these steps:

1) Let it dry out

2) Try a different charging cable and see: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t charge

3) Review this: Water and other liquid damage to iPhone or iPod isn't covered by warranty
