Unable to open shared note

Question

Unable to open shared note

My friend tried to share notes but when I click open nothing happens and it just takes me to notes. Yes I have iCloud sharing on

iPhone X, iOS 14

I found the solution on my own. Open notes, click ‘Back’ at the top left. This is your ‘Folders’ screen. You should see ‘iCloud’ and beneath it ‘On My iPhone’. On the right of iCloud it should say ‘Upgrade’, tap and hold it and it will upgrade your notes. If you’re like me and you never upgraded your notes that’s the solution.
