what if i have a new Apple ID?
i don't remember the password for my old apple id and im trying to log into my macbook now with my new Apple ID but not sure how?

Try recovering your old Apple ID password. Some of your data and all your prior purchases are tied to the old ID.
For the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.
