Phone keeps restarting

Hi, my iPhone 8 plus keeps restarting throughout the day and it's quite annoying. I'm not sure what's caused this. I'll be using it then all of a sudden it restarts, then I have to wait for it to turn on again, and then it restarts again soon after. Sometimes it will restart in a loop for several minutes at a time and it can get a bit warm while doing this. I have looked up a few ways like updating the software and forcing a restart but none have worked.

Do you have any idea what may be causing this and how I could fix it?
