Can you hide an app in ios14 with out deleting it?

I don't know of a way to hide an individual app other than to put it on a separate home screen page and hide that page. See instructions in: Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone - Apple Support

In ios14 you can remove it from homescreen but it will stay in App Library after the last homescreen.
