How long does it take to process my order 2021?


I ordered a macbook air M1 on January 10th. Standard option. 8GB RAM - 256GB SSD. I would like to know how long it takes to process my order? Today it is still in "processing" and has not changed status

Probably sometime around Jan 31. Basically, your Mac is being made in China, then it will be shipped on a pallet from China to a distribution point in your country, and only then will it be 'preparing to ship', and the next day it will likely ship overnight to you. For my last two Macs, it updated to preparing to ship two days before delivery, and in both cases delivery was on the last 1-2 days of the window.

Mine changed just like yours with the reference to you each day that yours changed.


Check my last post on here at the last page. Even the time you got yours changed from processing to when they took the money at 4:30, mine was debited at 4:16... then 5:26 or so, it changed to preparing to ship. And ever since I haven’t see it change to shipped. And my FedEx or UPS accounts haven’t updated to notify me of any shipments as they do with anytime someone or a company ships something to me.

Just go with my timeline... whatever happens with mine, it happens with yours, 24 hours later. I’m hoping and wishing it ships today. I referenced mine with the other user that had the issue with his bank... so far, everything coincides with his timeline. The other difference is... I had to issue with my bank. And second issue is, mine has said preparing to ship since 5:26am.... but the day isn’t over yet... we have another 10 hours to go.

Oh, you have to call them to verify your card or bank. Call them right now. You aren’t the only this happened to on here. Because right now I’m looking at my FedEx tracking, they picked it up at 7am this morning. Will deliver tomorrow. So call them now. 1 (800) 692-7753 follow the prompt, but keep requesting customer service at the automated system, until you speak to one.

As soon as you speak to the human rep... and tell the issue. She or he would either be able to updated it on the system right away, or may forward you to the appropriate department. As soon as they update it. Sometimes they might tell you that it’s your bank, in that case, call the bank. And then call Apple back and follow what I’ve said.

As for me, I didn’t have any issue with my bank bank, I paid via Apple Pay from my iPad Pro. Which uses the device’s account number rather than my card number. Makes it easier. But yes, all now... find out what’s the issue. Is it them or your bank, they will tell you if it’s your bank... they would ask for the card back. If it’s you bank, they would tell you to call your bank... iron out the issue and then call them back.... if I’m you do that now. And as soon as they get the pay charged. Your status would updated to; preparing to ship. This happened with the other dude from the previous week.. he even posted that he had to call his bank... once he did that and called apple back they fixed everything he got his MacBook shipped. Go on... and handle this. I want you to get yours and feel the joy as I did.

Did you speak to someone? And I’m glad. For now, just wait until tomorrow, when you will get another update saying; shipped. And if it’s shipped tomorrow. You won’t have it delivered until Monday. That happened to my accessories. Bought on a Friday it says preparing to ship. Never did until the following Monday. That’s because there no weekend shipment.

just like I’ve said. Remember I told you... anything mine says, yours would 24 hours later. I was outside in the lobby waiting on the delivery guy. A young man. And he had jokes for me. Because two weeks ago, I waited for him in the lobby as well for my MacBook accessories. But this one was shipped with standard express, which the latest is 4-8pm and that sucks. So when he saw me, he was like; “i didn’t forget you”. 😂
