Documents and Data for photos still showing up in storage even after deleting all photos.

I can’t get 20 GB of space cleared out because it’s still in documents and data. They are not in recently deleted either.

I checked here before posting. There was an old post that said to change the date on your phone and after you do that they will be in recently deleted. I tried that. It didn’t work. So frustrating because I need the space and it’s just not there.

Any advice?

Google pictures has all of her photos backed up on it, so she used the optimize button on it to clear space from her phone. Her current iPhone photos gallery is on about 37 pictures, yet when she checks storage setting, it shows that pictures take 31 GB worth of space. How is that possible? Documents and data in photos is it possible to get rid of the documents and data in the photos in my storage?? Even though there’s only around 30 photos, data shows around 500.I'm running short on my phone storage.please help

Photos went missing Hey guys, couple of days ago I received a notification saying that my iCloud storage is running out so I have to upgrade it , So I suggested to remove some of the unimportant photos from my iCloud because I’m already on the 50 GB plan ,when I was removing some of the photos and videos a notification popped up stating that if I did remove those files from my iCloud it won’t affect the files that are already in my photos ! Like if I have a photo in my phone and I have a copy of it on the iCloud and I’ve removed it from the iCloud storage it will remain on my phone , However when I removed (all the photos) from the iCloud it disappeared from my phone ! the question is : Would I be able to restore them!?
