Strange effect on iPhone 12 Pro camera

Can anyone explain why my camera has this strange reflection when I take a picture of my light. It has never happened to me before.

Those are lens flares and very common when you point a camera lens at a very bright light. You can minimize the effect by altering the angle of the camera relative to the subject. You can also use post editing software to eliminate the effects such as Snapdragon or if you're an Adobe Cloud user, Photoshop Express for iPhone.
