I have a few doubts your MacBook Air actually reached 100˚C, because that is the temperature of boiling water and it would have been too hot to touch. I suppose it could have been reporting the internal CPU temperature but it is also possible you have a sensor with hallucinations. Did the MBA (keyboard and underside) become more than just gently warm to touch?

Hello Lokilitz,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are concerned about the temperature of your Mac. We can understand why you'd reach out for a solution.

Here is a resource that can help: Keep your Mac notebook within acceptable operating temperatures. As quoted from within that resource, "Use your Mac notebook where the ambient temperature is between 50° and 95° F (10° and 35° C)." Based on that, your Mac is getting warmer than expected. You'll want to use the guidance from this resource to help you address the temperature concern further, to make sure your Mac is running its best for your games.

Cheers!
