Reset password

I haven’t opened my macbook air for over a year due to pandemic. I left my macbook at my hometown. But i got it already just now. When i opened my mac, they wont accept my password and my apple id. A “couldnt sign in because of a server error. Try signing in again” ive tried many times but nothing is happening. Appreciate ur help response.
