ITunes is asking for password to restore backup

iTunes is asking for a password to restore backup of my iPhone 7. The thing is I never did have to set a password when I made the backup. I’ve tried the device password, iCloud password, old iTunes password, MacBook password, nothing works! Any suggestions of possible solutions would be of much help. Thanks.

i wonder why icloud would ask you to do that? some say iphones cant be hacked, but mine is. here is a tech article about how all phones can be hacked. not much we can do, but they have some suggestions. https://www.smtechub.com/ss7-attack/
