When I try to Edit my Payment Method, I can't delete or type over or backspace-delete the old info. These functions on my keyboard work everywhere else within the form, just not in the Debit Card Number field. Can anybody help?

Please see the following:
"If you can't edit your payment information
Try updating to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS or macOS.
If you have subscriptions, have an unpaid balance, or share purchases with your Family Sharing group, you can't remove all payment information. Get help if you want to use no payment method with your Apple ID.
Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods

Thanks Jeff W.! I have solved the problem now. It turned out, I was trying to simply put in the new Debit Card info over my old Debit Card info. I did not realize that that was not allowable. What I eventually figured out is that I had to enter the new Debit Card as a new form of payment, then delete the old debit card from the account. That worked.
