Mac mini M1 and Adobe Lightroom 6 (desktop)

I bought the new M1 Mac mini, all software that was on my previous Mac works fine without problems. Only Adobe Lightroom 6, even though is stated that it should work under Rosetta 2, M1 processor and Big Sur, has problems. In facts, the first time I launched the application I got a warning that to be able to work the system should have install the Rosetta 2. In few minutes Lightroom opened and I was able to see all my photos. Then everytime I try to open Lightroom I see a flash of his bar but nothing happens.

Does anyone have a solution for this matter? Thanks a lot in advance!

Adobe has dropped support for Lightroom 6 for years now

so I am surprised it even opens on an M1 machine. The

only true solution is to upgrade to the Adobe CC versions

of Lightroom or an alternative app that is currently

supported on macOS Big Sur as well as M1 Macs.

Just to say another word: LR 6 is still working perfectly on my MacBook Air 11" Big Sur. I guess that is Silicon M1 that blocks the execution of the software, even though the Rosetta 2 should try to translate the Intel code to ARM architecture.

Anyway, as said, the unique solution to be able to use LR on my Mac Mini seems to be to buy an Adobe Plan, let's say PS & LR in bundle, it will cost more than the stand alone item, but will be updated at the latest version forever. And will work, should it? :-P
