My iPad Air 2 is really slow!!

Question

My iPad Air 2 is really slow!!

My iPad worked fine for the past few months, but suddenly it just degraded in performance...... Why is this? I know it’s old, but it used to work like a charm just last month.

Well.

You have a decent amount of free, internal data storage space left inside of that iPad, so I am not entirely sure why your iPad is slow.

Try all of these tips and leave each tip active together.

Do not simply try every tip individually, expecting just one tip to be a performance “cure all”.

Many of these tips are designed to work together to help improve overall iOS/iDevice performance.

Thanks for the help.....

Learned a few things that I had not known before, sadly the iPad is still slow.

I’m gonna make the assumption that’s it’s a bit old, and I probably need an upgrade.

Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
