My iPad worked fine for the past few months, but suddenly it just degraded in performance...... Why is this? I know it’s old, but it used to work like a charm just last month.

Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

You have a decent amount of free, internal data storage space left inside of that iPad, so I am not entirely sure why your iPad is slow.

What is the rated, internal data storage model of your iPad and how much of this internal data stirage is left inside of your iPad model?

Tried that already....... There’s no improvement.
total = 128GB
Remaining = 30.6GB
