I have the series 3 watch. I’ve deleted every single app that can be deleted and I still don’t have 3.1 GB of memory. Does this mean that I just can’t have the update? Do you know longer support the series 3 watch?

My series 3 Apple Watch only has 2.3 GB available, but I need 3.1 GB for the latest update. I have deleted everything I can, but still can’t get to 3.1 GB. Is there any way around this so I can get the update and use Apple Fitness+ in my watch?

Apple Watch, watchOS 4

My husband had the same problem. We found this series of steps from Apple. He had already removed every app he could. Turned off many notifications. He got to the step to restart the watch and that finally worked. It was almost like the watch hadn’t recognized everything he did. But finally did after restarting. Anyway, here’s the link to the steps.
