‘16 MacBook Pro w/Touch Bar battery just died without any warning
So come to find out my Apple plus warranty expired back in September and one day the computer was acting perfectly fine then next day after powering off and restarted I got a bartender health warning saying serious battery failure. I’m currently in school and the only way for the computer to work is if it remains plugged in. Kinda defeats the purpose of a portable laptop. Has anyone else had these issues. I know Apple released a recall on 13.3” non-touch bar batteries but aren’t they the same. I don’t have any antivirus or other programs burger than Firefox, chrome and Microsoft suit (word, PowerPoint and the like). Is anyone having issues like me? Apple won’t even take my tech support calls as my Apple plus expired in September which just two months prior to September my touch at stopped working and screen as well. They did fix both but I’m wondering what they might have done to degrade the battery. Just so strange one day working fine the next, battery won’t hold a charge and is recommended for serious maintenance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to spend a few hundred dollars that I don’t have as a student in a inferior windows chromebook or the like.
