Sync'ing music FROM iphone TO macbook?

The sync question when I connect the iphone to the macbook says "...onto iphone". How do I make sure I'm moving music from iphone to macbook?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

Moving music from iPhone to Mac can be done, but it requires the use of third party SW. See information in this guide by Forum member turingtest2:
