Network multifunction (Brother L2540DW) detected as bonjour

I'm using a Mac mini M1 (Big Sur 11.1). I'm trying to setup a multifunction device (Brother L2540DW) that is connected on my LAN (wired). The add printers/scanners interface detects the device as a "Bonjour" kind, not a "Bonjour multifunction". Once setup, I can print from the device, but not scan. There is no scan tab in the Printers & Scanners interface.

Any ideas?

I figured this one out eventually. I needed to install an "ICA" driver from the Brother website. After that, the device shows up correctly as a "Bonjour multifunction."
