Is there an equalizer in the Music app?

Does the new Music app have an equalizer? If so: Is it any better than before? Does it still have the 4-second delay when moving the sliders, like the one in iTunes has?

Figures. GarageBand EQ has almost no delay if any. Why not the Music app?

Anything more than some fraction of a second is too long. Four seconds is definitely way too long.
