Mac Mini M1 is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter?

I just bought a mac mini M1 and trying to connect it with TB3 to TB2 adapter for display purposes, it seems it doesnt work (although Apple manuals say it should). Is anyone has a solution or faced a similar issue? Thanks

It will only work when connecting to Thunderbolt displays.

If your display has a MiniDisplay Port, you need adapters/cables that

are USB-C to MiniDisplay Port.

If you do in fact have a Thunderbolt display, then perhaps you simply

got a faulty adapter as mine works just fine connecting to my

Thunderbolt display/
