Family Sharing

Hi, family sharing normally works fine, but today when I bought the Minecraft app, which supports family sharing, it hasn’t shared the purchase with my kids...who it’s for!

Family sharing is enabled on all of our Apple ID’s, I’ve checked that this is shown in both my Apple ID profile in settings as well as the kids’.

I’ve also done the long press on the app to bring up the “Share App” option, which sent the link to the app by iMessage. However, even doing that when the kids go into App Store, it shows that the app needs to be paid for again.

any ideas?

Fixed it...

Download shared purchases from the App Store

  1. Open the App Store .
  2. Tap —or your profile picture—at the top right.
  3. Tap Purchased, choose a family member, then tap  next to a purchased item to download it.
