How is apple protecting their products from being copied or sold under a similar name.

This is a user to user only forum. You're not telling Apple anything here. How can any company ensure there aren't bad people in the world making copies of their products and selling them to uninformed people? Simple. Don't buy from anyone other than Apple or Apple Authorized sellers. Ever heard the saying, "If something seems to good to be true, it is too to be true?" If you buy a purse form a seller on the streets in NYC., and they tell you it's an authentic Gucci, for $10, you most assuredly didn't buy anything from Gucci.
Apple is and always has been incredibly careful about where they sell their products. You get what you pay for. So only buy from authorized sellers and you don't get ripped off.

Bought a phone represented as iphone12. Looked like the product but called phonei12. I realized my mistake am unable to cancel the order but would like to report the incident to apple.
