Dolby Vision on Mac mini LG CX set up

When I play movies capable of Dolby Vision on the built-in Apps on my 48" CX, the Dolby Vision logo temporarily pops up on the upper right corner of my screen to signify the TV is in Dolby Vision mode. When I play movies capable of Dolby Vision on my Apple TV 4K same thing. The same can also be said for my 4K Blu-Rays. This however does not happen when I stream movies from the Apple TV app on my Mac mini. Movies and shows that I know for a fact are capable of Dolby Vision do not trigger Dolby Vision mode on my LG CX. I got a Belkin Ultra HD High Speed HDMI cable, so I'm pretty sure it's not HDMI related. Any suggestions?

No problem. Irrespective, there’s nothing in the specs to infer Dolby Vision (4K) is supported; ditto for this support article https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210980 which suggests resolution’s limited to I080p. I would stick to Apple TV 4K.

Is it on the roadmap to eventually support Dolby Vision on the M1 Macs? Specifically the LLDV Profile 5 version, i.e. - Player-Led because I have a solution that takes advantage of that version using an HDFury Vertex2 so you can play Dolby Vision sources on displays that otherwise only support HDR10, like projectors.
