do you know if it's possible to change the video format in 9:16?
I need to edit video for social networks and cannot find how change the format, there's only one and it's horizontal.

Hi, not sure, what you mean, but you can edit vertical video in iMovie. Just select new App preview as the project type and then export it as a App preview. It will come out as mp4.
Without knowing any details it is not possible to give a definitive answer. You could probably edit and crop existing videos but even this is uncertain without knowing what software you have available, and it would probably lose too much of the existing frame.
If you are hoping to change the format of new videos you make in the future you should certainly be able to switch the format, but you would need to do something different on the recording device.
Sorry, I'm talking about iMovie. I need to edit vertical video made with smartphone with iMovie on my MacBook Air but cannot change the only format iMovie has, that is 16:9
