How do I factory reset my macbook if my internal keyboard doesnt work?

I was reading the steps of how factory resetting a macbook pro and...

” Open in Recovery Mode. Once the computer turns off, hold Command + R until the Apple logo appears. “

.. is there another way to do this? As my internal keyboard is 100% broken since 2018 ( I used my macbook with the external magic keyboard)

The internal keyboard of my macbook, neither the command or R keys work, and I dont want to spend $700+ to get it fixed. I just want to factory reset it.

you can use any wired USB keyboard, even a Windows keyboard.

It is said to work with a wireless keyboard, but the timing can be tricky, and it may take MANY tries to get it to work.
