My husband successfully changed from his iphone 7 to an iphone 12 mini. But his iphone 7 had shown as Do Not Disturb to all of us who text him regularly. He has turned it off-tried this on iphone 7 before the upgrade. Now he still shows as DND moon when I text him. How does he change his status?
The moon next to his name in your Messages, has nothing to do with his settings. It means you have his contact set to not alert you of his messages.
To change this, open the conversation, tap on the icon at the top, then on the (i) Info icon, then make sure “Hide Alerts” is not turned on.
