my iPhone doesn't charge after dropping it in my tub

What do I do if I dropped my phone in a tub full of water, even though I pulled it out right after it happened and put it in rice for over 24 hours? It still won't charge and I know my charging cord is the problem.

You buy a new phone. iPhone is not waterproof and water damage cannot be fixed.
