Custom size for Desktop Icons (larger than 128px)
Hi, so I struggling to figure this out - in Finder I can set the icon size up to 512px while on the desktop it tops out at 128px - and I am looking for a way to increase that size to at least 256... any suggestions?
I have found that there used to be methods to achieve that using terminal commands (https://osxdaily.com/2008/01/02/make-finder-desktop-icon-sizes-huge/)
or by editing com.apple.desktop.plist (https://superuser.com/questions/616220/reset-desktop-view-icon-size-and-grid-spacing-to-default-in-mac-os/627432)
but those options do not work in Big Sur - the plist is absent (or at least I can't find it in Big Sur) and terminal commands no longer work (I think they are outdated - 12 years old but I can't find newer ones)...
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance!
