My disabled iPhone won't connect to my MacBook

My iPhone screen is currently not working and is also disabled. It states "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes". I tried to connect my iPhone to my MacBook and my iPhone does not show up on Finder or anywhere else. What other options do I have?

Perhaps you didn't perform the correct specific gestures while connecting your disabled iPhone to the computer, as per this support article:--> If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

If you mean that, beyond the fact that it is disabled, it has other problems, please specify your needs.
