My sister and I each got an iPad a 1458 for Christmas. The first app we installed on our iPads will not open all the others do can you help

The first app I installed on my IPad A1458 will not open. I've tried restart, uninstall then reinstall and restart again. All the app I installed after it work just fine. BUT my sister got the same thing and hers did the same thing. Any help is appreciated.
