change password due to hack

My email was hacked (2 accounts) and I have no email on any of my devices. I have tried to change the passwords but nothing is synching up. I keep getting a message on my phone saying that I need to enter a password in mail settings. I've done this many times, though. I'm out of ideas - restart?

You need to remove the accounts from the phone in Settings, Mail, Accounts (assuming you use the Mail app)

If you need to change email passwords do it by signing into your accounts using Safari. You will have more control on a laptop.

Then add the accounts back .
