How do I force my Apple TV to accept my WiFi password?

How do I force my Apple TV to accept my WiFi password?
I’ve tried, restarting the Apple TV device, restarting the network, renaming the network to no avail.
Normally the TV will list of Wi-Fi connections you can choose from.
Why do you need to key in SSID? Is your Wi-Fi a hidden network?
Did you try Restart, reset the TV?

The screen says the password is not correct.
You cannot force something that is not correct.
Note: Password is case sensitive.
Also check if you are using WPA2 (AES) or WPA 3 security settings on your Wi-Fi router.

Troubleshooting This:
Remove the Network Connection, then add it back - that worked for me, today.
the Apple TV does not prompt me for a password; after entering the SSID it goes directly to the error message.
my router is an eero with wpa3 enabled.
