Playing CDs in normal, non-shuffle order

I often listen to CDs (physical discs, in a CD drive, like ones I check out of a library) via iTunes. I also have music on my hard drive that I've bought, and playlists for that music. I like listening to the playlists in shuffle mode, but when I put in a CD I'd like it to play the disc in order. I know I can simply toggle the Shuffle icon every time I switch from listening to one or the other, but is there a way to set things so that happens automatically, to set individual playlists to shuffle mode, but not inserted CDs?

I recently upgraded to iTunes 12.8 from 9.2.1, and the older version was apparently smart enough to do this automatically (or else I had found some setting for that version long ago, which I can't find in the new one). Help?

No, shuffle and repeat are states of the player not a playlist.
