I have a new iPhone but need to wipe old phone without losing thousands of photos in iCloud. If I turn off iCloud in old phone but keep it on in new phone will all my data and photos remain in the cloud

i have a new ph. To keep photos and data in iCloud and on new ph do I just need to turn off iCloud in old ph before wiping. I don’t want to lose all my photos.

Do not use delete.
