Hi RebelGoose42,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. It's definitely important to be able to redeem gift cards! We're glad to assist with this issue.

To double-check, is this an Apple/iTunes Store gift card, or one from a third party?

As a start, does it help if you Restart your iPhone and try again?

If the issue is specific to an Apple or iTunes Store gift card, see if any of the steps here help: If you can't redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card

Best wishes!
