Apple Music / multiple devices

I only listen to Apple Music on one device, my IPhone. I recently got a new iPad and of cours my Apple ID is the same but now I can’t listen to my music on my phone because it is signed in on my iPad. I deleted Apple Music from my iPad yet it still says Another device is using my account. Not sure how to change it. Please help.

We understand that you're currently unable to play Apple Music content on your iPhone, and we'd like to help. When you see this alert appear on the phone, do you have any option to proceed? For example, does it ask you if you want to stop playing content on the other device and continue on the iPhone?


Also, do you know if Sync Library is enabled? With an Apple Music individual subscription, you'll only be able to listen on one device at a time. We have more information on Sync Library here:
