Apple ID not signing into my mac

I am trying to sign into my apple ID in my mac but every time I enter my password and login, it shows the same question 'Your Apple ID lets you access your music, photos, contacts, calendars and more on your devices, automatically' repeatedly as if I hadn't just entered it. I updated my laptop and signed in and it worked two days ago, then I signed out of FaceTime for half an hour and then tried to sign back and it said it cannot sign back in because of issues with 'iCloud login' so I tried to sign out and sign back in and it's not letting me sign in. The first time it said 'Verification Failed- Your Apple ID or password is incorrect,' - although I am writing the right password, then later it would just not login. I have attached a picture of 1. entering login 2. The first notification 3. asking the same question after entering my details repeatedly

Are you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN?

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Also try the Safe Mode.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

Safe Mode - About.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply.        Pastebin.

Hello there aksiya,

We'd like to see how we can help with your Apple ID issue. We can understand the concern when you're seeing this login issue.

We'd first like to confirm that you can sign in to our Apple ID site here: Apple ID

If you don't have any issues signing in there, we'd like to see if you can sign in using a different network on your Mac.

If you do have an issue signing in there, we'd like to have you review the following articles:

If you forgot your Apple ID password

Two-factor authentication for Apple ID

Keep us posted with your results.

Cheers.
