Can't play recently purchased music

I purchased music last week. Downloaded it. But now it won't play. It says my computer isn't authorized to play that song and asks if I would like to authorize that computer and asks me to sign in. I sign in and it says that my computer is already authorized, but then it still doesn't play the song and asks me to sign in again

Two Thoughts:

I. Deauthorize, then Authorize:

  1. Deauthorize: the computer
  2. Restart: the computer
  3. Log In: as same user
  4. Authorize: the computer

II. Try this in Safe Mode:

[Hold Down: shift key Upon Boot]. If the above does not work, then try it again, but this time in Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, damaged system files (i.e. caches) are fixed, and login items do not run.
