Why is my software not updated in 12.5.1?

My software update is not updated in 12.5.1 how to fix this issue?

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Unfortunately iOS 12.5.1 is as high as your iPhone 6 can go.


Click on this link to read how to "Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" --> https://support.apple.com/HT204204 - When you try to update you will only be given one update selection which will be the highest available iOS version supported by your device. If it says the device is up to date and you need a higher OS version you will have to buy newer equipment.

Sorry - I misunderstood. You have lower than 12.5.1, and want to upgrade *to* 12.5.1? Correct?
