Third Party apps on home screen instead of where they were left off last

Hi all.

Third party apps like YouTube used to load video where I left off. Now this does not happen.

For example, if I leave YouTube for 5 mins to go to another app it loads home screen and loses the video that I was playing. This happens on other third party apps too. Can somebody help me with this?
