Why is charging iPhone 11 pro Max through computer is slow?

I have an iPhone 11 pro max and usually when I charge it through an electrical outlet with the adapter it came with the phone charges fast. When I connect it to a computer it charges very slow, is this normal?

The USB port on the computer is much lower wattage than the wall wart you're using.

It's completely normal.
