Battery Issue

My Mac battery is getting drained if I forgot to disconnect the wifi before dropping the lid. It will drain around 60% battery overnight. Could someone please suggest why this is happening?

That's not the case with Mac OS Catalina.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.1

So are you saying you are running macOS Big Sur...(?)

My battery runtime is low

If you continue have an issue, try from :

>System Preferences>Battery> in both Battery&Power Adapter disable the PowerNap and test.
