Oxygen sensor on Apple watch series 6.

I was hoping after the I OS 14.3 update that my health app and my Apple watch would begin communicating with each other again. However, my Apple watch oxygen sensor says that it hasn't taken the measurement for 13 days and I wear it every day. Yet my phone is giving a reading, so I have no idea if this is accurate. Is anyone else having this problem? Suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated!

Have you tried taking a reading directly on your watch as min the "How to take a blood oxygen measurement" section of:

How to use the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch Series 6 - Apple Support


If so, the first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support


If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
